Eric Nagler
Eric has been involved with peaceful conflict resolution throughout most of his life. In 1963 he marched through Mississippi with Martin Luther King, encouraging people to register to vote. He came to Canada in 1968 as a conscientious objector to war, returning to The United States in 1972 to stand trial for draft evasion. He was acquitted. In 1996 Eric journeyed to China as a member of a Citizen's Diplomacy tour led by Dr. Stan Dale of the Human Awareness Institute (HAI). This experience, coupled with the HAI workshops he has participated in, has motivated Eric to focus more directly on conflict resolution and facilitating people to bring more awareness and love into their lives, helping create a world where everyone wins. Eric is the HAI Canada laison. |
Since 1978 Eric has devoted his heart and soul to the art of family music, performing before live audiences and TV across the continent. His humourous antics and down-home music combine with a superb instrumental ability to have made Eric one of North America's favourites. He is also an intern and a writer.
