Parties and Social Events

Once you have completed a Human Awareness Institute "Love, Intimacy and Sexuality" workshop, many options open up to you to do further workshops and to stay in contact with others.

One of the things that people love about our workshops is that when you go home on Sunday night, that doesn't have to mean it's over. Many people who have done the workshop want more of this kind of deep honesty and intimacy in their lives, so they stay in contact with each other. We give out a contact list of those who participated including the staff after each workshop to help facilitate your continued connection. We also organize parties so that people who have taken a HAI workshop can continue socializing and enjoy being with each other. The parties are open to those who have taken a workshop and their friends. If you haven't taken a workshop yet and would like to attend a party, you'll need to get someone who has taken a workshop to invite you.

Below is our current party list. Parties are open only to those who have taken a HAI workshop and their guests. The location and directions are located on a password protected page.

Announcing the HAI-Life Benefit Concert
(Editor’s Note: The following is from Scott McWhinney… a true friend of HAI and longtime supporter of these efforts. Scott has been producing an annual benefit concert for ‘HAI-Life’ for a number of years now. He has my deep & sincere appreciation. Billi I)

Dear HAI Friends,
The HAI-Life Benefit Concert is happening again, in early September this year. We would love to have you there to share in this celebration of creativity and community. The concert will take place in Ann Arbor at the Interfaith Center for Spiritual Growth, at 704 Airport Boulevard, Ann Arbor, Michigan, 48108. The concert will be on Saturday evening September 6th at 7:30PM, and will go till 10:30 or 11:00. Lots of great HAI musicians will be playing, so come out and support them as they sing and play for you. We are requesting a $15 donation to attend the concert, all proceeds going to support the HAI newsletter which helps keep us all connected. But if $15 is too much, please come and donate what you can. We'd rather have you pay a little less than have finances be an obstacle to your joining us for the evening. We look forward to being with you for a musical celebration with your HAI friends. & family. For more information please call Scott McWhinney at (734) 223-3025 or e-mail at scottmcw@umich.edu.

See you there!
